'Before I started working out with Shane in July 2008 I had never stuck with any exercise program. I had
done every diet imaginable and the weight just came back plus more.
This time I wanted to take off the weight and get in shape once and for all. And from the minute I started the classes I knew it would be different-it was harder than anything I had ever done before but I loved it and still do! Every workout is different so there is no room for getting bored and I love the way Shane encourages us and pushes us to the next level. He is very knowledgable and definitely makes each workout a unique experience! I also found the more I worked out the less I wanted to eat bad which changed my diet and now I actually don't feel well if I eat stuff I shouldn't.
When I started I was a tight size 16 and had leftover back issues from car accidents which had me at the chiropractor and massage therapist every two weeks--now I have lost 32.5 pounds and counting, am a lean size 9 and I haven't been for massage or chiropractic treatments in months which is so amazing! I also love the great friends I have made in the process. I am proud to say I have only missed a few classes since July and only because I had to! I have been working with Shane consistently for about five months doing the kickboxing cardio classes, as well as private sessions with focus on resistance training. From the very first class, I realized that this was the most challenging and rewarding exercise program that I had ever done. Shane has a unique way of combining intense cardio workouts with kickboxing routines, which make each workout intense and fun. Each workout is different from the last and you never know what to expect from class to class. Shane provides the prefect amount of encouragement without standing over you shouting as some instructors do. I have tried several workout routines in the past, but I found it is difficult to stay motivated and to keep my heart rate up the way that I do when I work out with Shane.
My initial goal was to lose body fat and gain muscle mass and the results that I have experienced thus far are amazing. I have lost a significant amount of fat and replaced it with muscle, but the biggest benefit that I have received from these workouts is in my conditioning. When I play squash and other sports, I feel like I can push myself harder than I ever have before. I don’t feel fatigued as quickly as I have in the past and I have even started to play sports that I have not played for years because of my conditioning. Each class I want to push myself harder and harder and my motivation is through the roof!
Temple Fitness has completely changed my life. I feel healthier that I have in years and I feel like I have found a program that is exciting, challenging and most importantly, one that I will be able to stick with for a long time. Thanks Shane and all of the staff at Temple Fitness.

'Before starting Shane's Mommyfitt class, I had never stuck with any workout program, either on my own or with a class. I simply couldn't summon the motivation. I am proud to say that the only two classes in this past session I have missed were when I was out of town. And boy did I miss them! I even tried to do them on my own, but I didn't have that extra push to keep me sweating. I love the encouragement Shane gives us, and how he manages to coax a little more effort out of us every day. 'I have wanted to loose weight my whole life. It got to the point that I was kinda mentally going crazy. My husband suggested that I just bite the bullet and hire a trainer to work with me to fix this problem once and for all so that I could move on with my life and be happy. I looked around and found Shane at Temple Fitness. I have been working out with him 1 on 1 for 2 1/2 months and have lost 16 pounds and have droped 8 inches and 4 dress sizes. 'I have been training with Shane now for several weeks and when I went for my initial session I was nervous and not sure if I’d be able to stick with it. Well, that thought went within 10 seconds of meeting Shane, who is easily likeable and very friendly. Shane is an excellent motivator whose knowledge and understanding of personal and group fitness is second to none, but more importantly he makes it great fun. Workouts are tough but kept varied so I always enjoy them. Highly recommended, you won't regret it!'

'I started this class Oct.1 and it's the best exercise class I've ever been in and I'm not kidding!!!! I love that I go 3 times a week for 45 minutes at a time....I hated those classes that you only take once a week and you're back to square one the each session. I love the yoga incorporated into each class, the kickboxing, and that it's NOT boring!!!!!! Now I don't really care for the stairs but I look better for it.....lol. Shane I just wanted to throw out a thanks to you for keep pushing us girls and praising us for our efforts....it keeps me going!!!!! This class ROCKS!!!!!!! '

'I have been working out with Shane for a few months now. It is always something different that keeps it interesting and fun. Shane is very knowledgable and encouraging which has kept me coming back. I enjoy the fact that he pushes you to do your personal best and reminds you that you are worth it. Working out early in the morning is refreshing and i find that i have more energy throughout the day. I definately recommend his services!'
